ABOUT ME

My name is Glenn Hartness, I am the owner and guide of Fishers of Men Guide Fishing.

Fishing has always been a passion of mine. I grew up fishing with my dad (Vic Hartness) who is one of the best crappie and bass fishermen in southwest Arkansas. The "old fashioned" techniques he taught me, along with the new electronics style of fishing has allowed us to understand fish and what they do during every season of the year. In the past, we put fishing on hold during the winter, because the spring and summer were the best times for us to catch bass and crappie. Now live imaging sonar allows us to find and catch fish year round, even in the toughest conditions. This technology allows us to distinguish different fish and understand they react to different fishing lures and techniques.

A $100 deposit is due at the time of booking your trip. The deposit is only refundable if the trip is cancelled at least 7 days before the fishing trip or in the event of a weather related cancellation. The trip balance must be paid in full before the start time of the trip. You can pay for the full amount online or in cash the day of the trip.

I will call you the day before the trip to make sure everything is ready to go as planned, confirm our boat ramp meeting location, and let you know what to expect during the trip!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We provide guided fishing trips on Lake Ouachita, Lake Hamilton, and Lake Degray.

We will fish for Crappie, Bass, and/or Spotted Bass. We can target your preference of fish, or go after whatever is biting the best that day!

Before each trip, each participant is required to sign a liability waiver.

A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit is refundable up until 7 days before the trip, or in the event of weather related cancellations.

We will abide by all AGFC rules and regulations while on the water.

Please look at the weather forecast and dress accordingly for our trip out on the water. Sunglasses and long sleeve clothing is recommended. Unless it's the middle of the summer, it's always colder and windier on the lake than it is on land, so dress accordingly with layers.
If there are any weather concerns, I will contact you before the trip to plan accordingly or reschedule the trip.

Be sure to bring sunscreen if you will need it.

All anglers 16 years old or older must have an Arkansas fishing license. That license can be obtained on the AGFC.com website.
